The style, material quality and fact that it is filled with ‘recycled’ down (whatever that means) puts this jacket into a different category than many of these types of electric garments. It’s a pretty nice jacket whether you use the electric function or not.
There are three heat zones–the lower front of the jacket, the back of the jacket and the collar. The detachable hood is not heated–which is not a big deal.
My complaint with this jacket is two-fold. First, the battery pack supplied is only 4800mAh and is about half of what most of these jackets come with. The critical issue with all of these garments is how long the battery will provide current to keep you warm. You can certainly carry a spare or recharge (takes a few hours) but a battery this size will give you less than 2 hours of warmth on high and perhaps a bit less than 4 on low. It’s really not enough. My second issue is simply that the jacket costs several times what these jackets usually cost and is therefore not a great value.
I like the stylishness, quality and fact that the seller is trying (by using a decent down fill) to make the jacket warm even when the battery is empty.27-02-2024Thank you for your approval! I would say this jacket is made a tad bit small in the arm length. I would suggest ordering a size up. The quality of the coat is excellent. This is a very nice jacket. It’s very warm even before I turn the heat on and it’s very comfortable to wear. The heating feature is amazing. It really heats up fast and keeps me so warm. The coat alone is a decent weight but add the warmers and you’re set for anything. Really comfortable coat and fairly lightweight, which is good because the only downsize is the weight of the battery pack.
