I was constantly having to take the battery out each time I wore it to charge it again. This battery is bigger and holds a decent charge but it is pricey compared to other battery packs. Original: I purchased this as an extra for my heated vest in hopes that it would be smaller than the OEM battery. It is smaller in length and width, however it is thicker than I was hoping for.
