So it’s just nice to start with. The sleeves have a velcro strap to tighten them up to keep out the wind. The battery has a LED read out of the batter power level, see photo that says 76.You charge the battery with usb “C” and then plug it in on the lower left side. you can see in the photos where it goes. Just a few clicks gets the jacket heated up nicely and for a long time.This would be good for a day out on the boat as it would keep you warm. Or anyplace that’s cold for that matter…7.4 amp and 5000 milliamperes hours mAH batteryA milliampere hour (mAh) is 1000th of an ampere hour ( Ah ). Both measures are commonly used to describe the energy charge that a battery will hold and how long a device will run before the battery needs rechargingThanks to Dr. Science for that lesson.Anyway, you can find some higher mAH batteries but it’s not that common. C.asanda c.02-11-2022Very Warm and Very Cozy JacketI was so impressed from the moment that this heated jacket arrived because it had about 4 layers of protective packaging, plus a beautiful storage bag for when you are not wearing it. This heated jacket looks incredible, and its warm without even turning on the jacket. This heated jacket is such good quality that I was just taken back by it when I first saw it. The hood is a nice added bonus, and the collar is fleece lined. The hybrid material is water resistant as well as being tear resistant, and it has oversized pockets for your hands, which are also fleece lined. It has an internal power bank pocket for the included 5,000 mAH battery, which is a very generous size without being too heavy. This jacket can last up to 10 hours on one charge, also the chip technology keeps you safe from electrical shock. It has 3 heating levels, and on the highest setting you will be sweating even in -20 degree weather. Absolutely the best coat that I have ever owned. For snow or wind, the bottom of the jacket has adjustable strings to make the bottom of the coat tighter. The back half of the coat is long enough to cover your backside and keep the cold out. The quality of this jacket, especially regarding the adjustable sleeves, would remind you of one or two of the very well known high end brands. I did notice that this jacket ran a little on the small side, so you may want to order up a size. There is also a very nice storing bag that is waterproof that has been included.
