Not only can you wear it one it’s own (the fabric is water resistant, but it’s also great under another jacket – perhaps one that is water proof. The fit and finish are very good. I find that the size Small runs a little large, so keep that in mind if you are on the borderline; you may want to size down. The battery lasts well, and I have the one that has a shorter run time. Even on the medium setting it’s quite warm. What a great item to have in the trunk of the car! It comes in a convenient little case. The zipper works well and the pockets and other components seem sturdy and well made. It’s thin so it’s not bulky, but it doesn’t need to be thick to be warm thanks to the heating elements within. The battery charges quickly and lasts a long time when in use. I like that the battery is compatible with other Venustas products should you choose to purchase any others. It really heats up quickly and evenly and gets warm enough that you probably won’t use the hottest setting except in the coldest and windiest of climates. I ordered it for my wife, but I ordered too large a size, so I decided to keep it, it is a lady’s vest and zips up on the left, but other than the zipper it does not look like a lady’s vest compared to a men’s, so I wear it.
It is fantastic.
The heated elements work great, very quickly and last for hours even at high.
The battery pack re charges pretty fast if you have a high-speed charger, I think I was able to re charge it from empty in about 30 minutes to full again.
It keeps me work no matter the weather, fits great and looks nice too, I love it.
